Scruffy Muffin Gets a Video

I recently finished a storyboarding class through Athabasca University. I highly recommend it if you are interested in learning about storyboarding, illustration, and/or animation. As part of my final project I was required to record a video of my storyboard and my final illustrations.

Since I was already in recording mode, I made a book video too! It’s nothing fancy, but you can listen to me read the final version of Scruffy Muffin Loses His Money.

I thought I would suggest a few more book videos your kids might enjoy, since many of us are home with our kids right now.

StoryTime at Awnie’s House is a really fun channel. Here you can watch her read Hey, That’s My Monster by Amanda Noll and Howard McWilliam. Awnie’s character voices are great!

Toadstools and Fairy Dust is another fun channel with read aloud book videos. Check out The Grumpy Monkey by Suzanne Lang. Miss Jill also does a wonderful job with character voices.

My kids and I recently read The Bad Seed by Jory John, so we were excited to find it on the KidTimeStoryTime YouTube Channel. Once again, the narrator does a great job with the different voices!

Enjoy!
