Eavesdropping on Easter Cover Reveal!

Back in September, I started working on the cover for the fourth Halloway Hills Middle School Mysteries book Eavesdropping on Easter. I ended up having to set that aside for some other projects I was working on, but I'm happy to share the cover is ready to go!

I started with the three images below which I purchased from Depositphotos. The images with the cats were created by Jaaak and the house was created by interactimages.

Then, using the Procreate app on my iPad, I combined them and added the text to make the cover you see here.

Eavesdropping on Easter

I always have so much fun creating these covers, and I can't wait to share this story with you. Here's the blurb:

In Halloway Hills, seventh grader Becky Bananski is doing her best to navigate life without her mother. With Easter just around the corner, she’s determined to lift her younger brothers’ spirits—even if it means wrangling two mischievous kittens, Ginger and Ghost, and keeping the family afloat.

But when Becky overhears troubling news about the town’s annual Easter egg hunt being canceled because the Easter eggs are missing, she vows to get to the bottom of the mystery. As she and her brothers begin to uncover a series of cleverly hidden eggs, they find more than just clues.

Will Becky and her brothers find the eggs before it's too late? Join the Bananski siblings on a heartfelt adventure filled with family bonds, playful kittens, and the promise of hope in even the toughest of times.

A short, page-turning story for ages 9-11.

* The paperback version is formatted using Century Gothic font, larger type, and more space to help ease reading challenges.

Eavesdropping on Easter will be available this spring!
